Tommy Butler was born in North Caroliina to a family of musicians who encouraged him to follow his dream. Tommy did just that. He moved to Nashville TN and has become one of the best Pedal Steel Guitar players in the industry. If you dont believe that just ask his peers. They are the ones who voted him #1 right here.

Having fans recognize him is something Butler is still growing accustom to. Butler recently left a Nashville venue to be approached by fans from Ohio, where his reputation had reached. Still Butler remains humble, thanks to his rural North Carolina roots and deeply religious upbringing.

Butler is pleased with his accomplishments but looks forward what the future holds.

Graham Brown, Sunny Sweeney, Dean Miller ( the late Roger Miller’s Son), Mitchell Oglesby, Kevin Denny, & Rick Monroe just to name a few.

Tommy has played on records for artist from all over the world, many of which were award winning projects. Tommy has recorded music for television & radio shows as well as earning several production credits.
