Since earning his degree in Classical Guitar at Austin Peay State University, the young Nashville native has begun making quite a name for himself in the Nashville scene. The versatile guitarist has toured and/or recorded with several major label artists in genres ranging from pop, Christian, hard rock, gospel, and country. He has toured with and/or recorded with the JaneDear Girls, Whitney Duncan, Shahnaz, Michael English, Big Daddy Weave, Avalon, Kerrie Roberts, Michael Boggs, Anthony Evans, Chris and Conrad, Cadia, and the Daniel Doss Band. He’s also had the opportunity to perform on several television and radio shows including the Jimmy Kimmel Show on ABC, The Grand Ole Opry on 650 WSM, GAC Television, CMT.com, and MTV.com.
Derek stays busy in Nashville and is available as an electric, acoustic, and bass player on live and studio sessions.
